POST REHAB CONDITIONING SPECIALIST

A Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist (PRCS) is a fitness professional that provides safe and effective exercise programs for those with past or present medical conditions. Addressing conditions such as arthritis, rotator cuff tear, back pain, knee pain, hip replacement and many others, the Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist helps to bridge the gap between healthcare and fitness. The PRCS understands the particulars of these conditions to they can help you to exercise safely and prevent re-injury while strengthening affected areas that have become weaker due to injury or surgery.

MEDICAL EXERCISE SPECIALIST

As with the Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist, the Medical Exercise Specialist has advanced credentials to work collaboratively with health care teams. The intention is to develop specific and complimentary exercise programs for clients with clinical issues. This includes those who have completed rehabilitation or those recovering from cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic and musculoskeletal conditions. An individual may be advised to "begin a regular exercise program", but is unlikely to receive much direction from his or her healthcare provider. This is where the Medical Exercise Specialist can be very useful.
